OFFICIATING

We’re passionate about marriages - your wedding day is your first day of marriage - that’s why we feel a tremendous sense of honor to create a personalized ceremony to reflect you two.

We are Joe and Shannon Terrell, happily married working together to celebrate people who are committing their lives together! Joe is our default minister, but both Shannon and I are legally licensed Ministers, and we create, produce, and officiate personalized wedding ceremonies. We are based in Colorado Springs, and have officiated ceremonies at Garden of the Gods, Rocky Mountain National Park, Clay Venues, The Prospect House, and several more venues. No location is too far for us to marry you!

HOW WE OFFICIATE.

Our ceremonies are conducted in either a religious or non-religious manner, and you can decide what’s right for your marriage. Religious ceremonies are either Christian-based/Jesus-focused, or non-religious ceremonies with an emphasis on love and the uniqueness of the marriage vow.

As a professional writer, I have imagined several beautiful and authentic vows for you to experience. When choosing your vows, you’re free to choose one option or even combine two of them to fit your needs. We have created some "alternative/modernized" weddings vows organized by two sections: religious and non-religious vows.

WHAT WE WILL DO FOR YOU.

We always move out of the way for the first kiss - we don’t need to be in that photo!

If you book Joe as your DJ, you can still hire him for your officiant at your venue! Everything for the ceremony - DJ and officiating - is on Joe’s Ipad, so as long as there is an external plug, Joe can do both.

We dress in a professional black or navy blue suit and will conduct services in a respectful and professional manner. We arrive approximately 30 minutes before the ceremony time, and leave 30 minutes after the ceremony after signing the marriage license.

Base pricing begins at $300 if you are local to Colorado Springs, and it includes the customizable vows, an officiating template, and an hour long consultation.
An additional travel fee will be necessary if the wedding is outside of Colorado Springs city limits, and we can talk about a more exact quote over email.
Officiating is only available on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.
