  + Freight Venue is a wedding venue that was once Leadville’s Train Depot! There is an in-house wedding planner to take the stress off of you, too. This venue is great for those with more than 50 guests.

Accommodations:

• Freight Hotel — also doubles as accommodations!

• The Historic Delaware Hotel — fun fact, the original CEO of Chipotle bought this hotel in 2021. They have been slowly renovating it, and will convert the lobby from the current [not so attractive] 80’s renovated lobby into a new, glamorous 1920’s saloon vibe. If you are having a smaller elopement, consider eating your first dinner married at their gilded restaurant. Can’t wait to photograph couples in this space when it’s finished!

• Historic Remodeled Downtown Loft — this airbnb is so cool! The location is great and ideal for a couple or two.

• Use High Rocky Mountain Homes to search for accommodation. They are local to the area and manage nearly 100 rentals, so if supporting local business is more your speed, search with them! If you plan on getting married inside the home though, you might need to email them and ask for permission before renting.
