Print your photos

Your memories shouldn’t live on a screen.

Why i believe you should print your Photos —

Photos are not meant to live in the digital world. I photograph and edit like you would a story; the setting, the main characters, the supporters, the main events, the small details that enrich the story, and the conclusion. You could describe my work is being cultivated for a living album. Printing prints for the walls, give print packs for your family, a calendar of your favorite images for the next year, and a durable wedding album is why I do what I do. It’s why I over-send images. It’s why you will have options between color and B&W images — please, print your glorious photos to celebrate in the beauty of your humanity every single day!

why I print My Photos

To be fair, I didn’t even order my wedding album or prints for months, but I did put them in a Facebook album two days after receiving my gallery. Guess how many times I looked at my photos online after that - maybe two times. I visited a friend with her wedding album on her coffee table, and a few days later, I ordered my wedding album 8 months after receiving the gallery. I was so excited to put it right on my coffee table and look at it all the time! Then, I made an album of only black & white images, and my heart fluttered. It’s timeless! I ordered more and sent them to my parents as a gift.

I had this sense that my photos are alive, full of memory, emotions, and remembrance, but I wasn’t feeling that on the computer. Once I tangibly held my wedding album in my hands, my emotions engulfed me as I was my marriage story in my own palms.

I can’t wait to show my kiddos our wedding albums one day!

That’s also my hope for you, to see Love displayed for you, your family, your friends. Whatever brings you joy, feels good, and puts a smile on your face - print it.

HOW TO PRINT & WHERE tO PRINT THEM

To print your photos, there are a few options that will have stunning paper, proper coloring (yay - no Oompa Loompa’s here!) for skin and tones, and they will stand the test of time like a proper heirloom.

  1. Your Downloadable Online Wedding Gallery.
When I sent you your gallery, there is a “shop” tab included with only reliable businesses that I would recommend. There’s all sorts of products available and from various small businesses that I can stand behind, like Indie Print, Red Tree Albums, QT Albums, Wooden Banana and more. If you need any help navigating that section of the gallery, or help customizing Save-The-Dates/Thank You cards, just send me an email and I’d be happy to help! I’m such a fan of the linen albums and wall calendars.

  2. Artifact Uprising.
Most of the prints on the walls of my house and our two wedding albums are from here. The quality if superb, I’m obsessed with the matte looks, and I love the way I look in the prints. They use recycled paper and are pretty quick with shipping, and I’ve never had a problem with them before. Also, if you live in Denver, they are a local business!

Printing Doubles as a Backup

Printing images is a physical backup in case of an emergency. Heaven forbid, but what would happen if something happened to your computer and that was the only place your photos were? Or what if you only put the photos on your computer and your computer crash, or the same thing with Facebook? As a reminder, once I send your final USB roughly 6 months after your wedding date, you will be responsible for all your edited images. I will give you instructions about how to create three types of backup’s, but you will be responsible for all your edited images thereon.

Printing images is the primary goal for wedding photography, and having a digital presence on Facebook, Dropbox, Amazon Photos, etc. is the backup plan.

If you have read this far - yay! You will get the inside nugget that I have approximately 3-4 sales every year through your gallery. Wohoo!

When you visit your gallery and click ‘shop’, you’ll see products that you might want. Typically, I will have a Christmas/Holiday sale, a Mother’s Day sale, and an Anniversary Sale. Sometimes, I offer more options as well, or sales on specific products. I know life gets in the way, and I use to wait for Artifact Uprising to have a sale to purchase anything, so now you know roughly when a sale might be coming around the corner.

I hope this is helpful, and please let me know if you have any questions about printing — !
