Jessica & Alex // Austin, TX
these two have suuuch a romantic falling-in-love story ++
but here is a summary in Jessica's words:
"Alex and I met as impact counselors freshman year of college, and had become best friends - which meant we hung out all the time. Then, one night Alex tried to tell me he liked me, but got so nervous he made it sound like he was friend zoning me! He eventually fixed it by telling me how crazy he was and wanted to take me on a beautiful, well thought out date. It was my dream date- dinner, sunset at a lake, candles, and a canvas for painting the sunset - who could resist.
At Christmas that year, he gave me a necklace with coordinates on it, and told me they were the coordinates from our first date, but it actually was the place he was planning on proposing.
Alex is the kindest and most thoughtful person I know. Friends seek him out for advice and know they can rely on him. Our proposal was based on 4 values - Community, Ministry, Faith, and Family. He even incorporated these into my custom ring design, which is something I’m able to look down at every day and remember.
Right now, Alex lives 3 hours away from me. Planning a wedding and being apart from him is so hard. But It makes the day we are united forever that much more exciting. He has changed my life more than I can put in words."
--- > we drove up to a cold 38 degree Austin, TX to explore Hamilton's Pool, some sweet city life hotspots, and the Sekrit Theater. it was one of the best times - it's our joy when clients literally become friends, who let us invest in them professionally but also as friends, and love to travel. ps: notice how she is barefoot at Hamiltons Pool? yah. it was still 38 degrees. wooorth every moment of it!
so immeasurably happy to know these two and to photograph + DJ their wedding in May +++
