The silhouetted first look, a literal golden hour, & one epic dance party we won’t forget.

Guests from all over the US met up at Lilian Farms for Tori & Reggie’s wedding on a gorgeous June morning. The day was SO laid-back and relaxing from the beginning, which is so refreshing to experience. As we were walking to meet with the boys, I literally looked at my second shooter and said, “it’s so nice not to have to worry about rain on a wedding day.” The forecast was 100% partly cloudy skies - but I had spoke too soon.

A massssssive thunderstorm brewed up and poured for well over an hour, which meant moving their ceremony indoors & finding a solution for their first look. Tori & Reggie gave me complete creative freedom to do all their portraits however I believe would be artistic. Hello Silhouetted First Look. It was beautiful & perfect.

The perks of an afternoon thunderstorms is a beautiful sunset — the Lord was smiling on us because WOW. It was epic. Like insane. When you make it a priority to spend time together on your wedding day with extended portrait time, it’s so laid-back! I love when the couple has the time to enjoy each other rather than rush through the necessary wedding portraits.

We are all about crazy dance parties, & they slaaaayed. Everything was epic. So happy to be in their story!
