I Do Institute 2017

I'm telling you, the Bryan/College Station wedding vendor community is absolutely incredible.

Several months ago, Amy with All Things Planned contacted the vendors as she organized the I Do Institute, a two-hour course on how to design your wedding! Seriously, how awesome, and I was so honored she invited me to teach! This course teaches brides how to design & organize their wedding day with vendors sharing our knowledge from all areas in the wedding business!

We created a "mock" wedding day and discussed each aspect of the day in regards to florals, lighting, organization, rentals, etc. You can see the ceremony backdrop has a simple smilax frame on a gorgeous wooden wall. The reception tables have three variations of design using centerpieces/bouquets, rental candles, and using a mixture of rentals and individual floral stems. Candles and florals mixed with gold tableware on the farm table make an impact using height, texture, and tones. Each bride left with a design magazine, so basically it was design galore!

I was blown away by the generosity of the vendors pouring out all the wedding wisdom you could think of! I'm beyond honored to serve with these vendors (aka friends) at weddings - #communityovercompetition!
