Mueller State Park, Colorado Wedding

During Covid-19, Jessica and Sam said their vows and had their Spring wedding at Mueller State Park, Colorado. These two met each other while working at a nursing home in northern Colorado, and immediately fell in love. They wanted their intimate wedding day to be a relaxing day focusing on the landscape of Mueller State Park, embracing all the loved ones they haven’t been able to hold in months, and the beautiful words of God.

It was a day full of laughter and warmth, stories of joy and triumph, and love for everyone present. Jessica’s mother gifted them a grand floral arch that framed them perfectly for their ceremony with Pikes Peak in the background. Their in-laws spoke poems and scriptures over their marriage, and they ended their ceremony with a second line! I spent a lot of my childhood in New Orleans (my mom is from there!) so seeing a second line gave me a sense of homecoming. We finished their intimate wedding by each cake and drink hot chocolate - what a way to end your wedding day!
