Downtown Denver + Genesse Park Wedding in Autumn

On a warm October day, Joe and I drove to downtown Denver to photograph and DJ an amazing wedding. We arrived at their epic apartment that overlooked the downtown, and I couldn’t believe my luck with all that natural light! Rebecca was so relaxed and calm, and all her girls were so helpful in setting up the perfect scene. They chose to do their first look on a bridge near their apartment, because they often spent time bonding together in that park after work. After their first look, we drove up to a park in the mountains for all their portraits. The smoke from the wildfires were so intense that you could hardly make out all the mountains behind them. We got goofy and had fun exploring the land before we headed to their venue for the ceremony. The florals from Fern & Bloom were a gorgeous statement, and I could not get enough of them! We ended up repurposing them for parts of the reception too! I loved every moment of this relaxed wedding, and I can’t wait to share their after sesson soon!
