Ten Mile Station Summer Wedding in Breckenridge, Colorado
Melissa & Brian’s summer wedding at the Ten Mile Station in Breckenridge, Colorado was nothing short of a dream! It was my first Jewish wedding to photograph, and Melissa was incredibly gracious teaching me about all the Jewish traditions they will be incorporating into their wedding. From Melissa twirling in a field of daisy, to Brian sharing tears of thankfulness and joy during their private vows, to their stunning blue floral and greenery Chuppah, to the biggest smiles I’ve ever seen as they were announced husband and wife during a sudden downpour, to the wild Hora dance with all their closest loved ones - it was a time of rejoicing together!
Their day started off at a vacation rental with a daisy wildflower meadow, followed by their first look and private vows at an alpine lake, and their ceremonies (yes, two!) and reception were held at the Ten Mile Station. Petal & Bean planned and effortlessly made all the guests and vendors feel comfortable - even when it began to downpour during the middle of their ceremony and we had to cut the ceremony short! I adore working with Acts of Adventure for videography - Alix and Connor make it so easy to collaborate to produce the best work for our couples. An industry secret is that photographers and videographers tend to not get along, so Acts of Adventure and I went scouting the locations the day before the wedding to make sure we were on the same page about everything! Talk about teamwork — check out their incredibly joyful and fun wedding video here!
Truly one of the most beautiful, comfortable, celebratory weddings I have ever been a part of - l'chaim to the happy couple!
