Teter // Beckendorff Farms

the windiest day ever + a really good group of people + a love story over the span of 8 years.

Outdoor weddings have my heart - being in 'nature' is when I feel closest to God, so seeing vows being spoken with howling winds at 75 degrees with the bridal party & family crying just makes me fall more in love with what I do.

Hailie was all about gorgeous, moody flowers from day one! F.Dellit Designs turned moody floral wizard, making these amazing bouquets & that floral swing! I was obsessed! I loved how chill the entire day was, because Hailie had the time to soak in every sweet moment of this amazing day. From moments celebrating her mom, dancing with her friends, seeing all the flowers for the first time. There were so many moments to love: the floral swing, the cakes, the Rolls Royce, their first kiss, the toasts! I could go on and on, because I just love them so very much!!

Beckendorff Farms is an amazing historic property, the details of their wedding were unbelievably beautiful, & the way Zachry looks at his bride will melt any heart. Also, the cake, the cake made them very happy & I heard it was the best cake anyone has had at a wedding.

As for my learned skill: the bridesmaid photos were some of my favorite, and certainly the hardest to get. The wind was coming in the direction of the sun -- & I love to backlight my people. I gave it a go, but the girls hair was just covering their faces, so I made the decision to photograph in direct sunlight to get their beautiful faces! I really loved how they turned out!
