Wright // Montgomery, TX

The most romantic couple I have ever met. I still can't get over it.

It POURED down on their wedding day, literally heavy downpour for hours straights. We were able to catch a 20 minute window of no rain to take some portraits outside, and that was all we needed to be efficient & get the portraits in the beautiful overcast light!

Their First Look was outside with the pouring rain beating on the balcony above them, and oh my goodness - it was one for the books!! Alex began tearing up before Jessica even approached him, but he let all his emotions flood out when he saw Jessica. Literally, we were crying, they were crying, the videographers were crying, and everyone sneaking around watching was crying. I can't stress how intimate, vulnerable, and amazing a First Look is - you get to spend time together on your wedding day, actually spend a few minutes alone (yes, this is your only time you get to be alone with just the two of you on a wedding day)  so I highly totally completely recommend a first look!

Their wedding day was everything I hoped a wedding would be for a couple - it was emotional with their loved ones, intentional with their message, and crazy with their dance party! Cheers to the Wrights! xx

I am literally obsessed with the shape & texture of these bouquets from The Farmer & I. Like wow.

After a short few minutes of portraits outside, the rain began pouring & didn't stop for 6 more hours. We moved inside to do a few more portraits before the ceremony!
