Breckenridge, CO Airbnb & Boreas Pass Elopement

Shayna & Josh’s elopement day in Breckenridge, Colorado began when Joe’s mom referred them to us as they considered ditching a Texas wedding for an intimate and adventurous Colorado elopement! We worked alongside Acts of Adventure to film this elopement day, and their wedding video of this elopement is probably my favorite wedding video ever! When we all planned their elopement, we want them to really consider how they wanted to spend their entire first day of marriage - from the moment they closed their eyes to the moment they fell asleep. Their elopement day was the perfect embodiment of their perfectly dreamy day.

On their wedding morning in late June, we met before dawn at the trailhead parking lot for a hike to a stunning alpine lake for their first look and ceremony. Shayna and Josh experienced a deeply emotional first look against the breathtaking mountain backdrop before we decided to get to another pristine lake for their sunrise ceremony. Joe officiated the wedding (so proud!) and the ceremony was joyful and completely vulnerable. They brought their delightful picnic breakfast and read heartfelt letters from their loved ones. We rested in the early afternoon and met up again to photograph their first married dinner at their riverfront cabin Airbnb and then adventured up on Boreas Pass for their cake + golden hour portraits!

It was undeniably a remarkable day with two of the most genuinely kind individuals we've ever met, and feel so blessed that we were able to celebrate alongside them!
