Ouray, CO + Ridgeway State Park Intimate Destination Wedding

In early May, Crystal and Logan and their families drove up to Colorado from Texas to get married in the snow-capped mountains of Ouray, CO! Crystal dreamt of being in awe of the mountains, having the freedom to move around freely and not being bound by a timeline, and finding a ceremony location that can accommodate accessibility issues with grandparents. They landed on exploring Ouray for their first look and portraits, and then driving to Ridgeway State Park for their ceremony. Getting married at a Colorado State Park is the best way to have epic views, accessible parking lots (and usually seating, dependent on the specific park) and the permit is usually less than $150 for the day. On top of all of that, Ouray doubled as a family vacation for their family members and friends that came up and the start of their honeymoon!

Here’s what Crystal has to say, “Shannon and Joe are an incredible pair! Hiring Century Tree Co for my wedding was the absolute best decision I made during wedding planning! From the moment we first connected to the day of the ceremony and the weeks and months that followed, Shannon took care of me with several detailed lists of options. She covered everything from helpful guides on what to wear for engagement photos, to a pinned list of VRBO and Airbnb locations that allowed wedding ceremonies on site, and tips and tricks for my bridesmaids, family and more. She was much more than just a photographer for me and a recommendation of Century Tree Co comes with my highest accolades!”
