Estes Park Stanley Hotel and Rocky Mountain National Park Two-Day Wedding

A Colorado destination wedding in the beautiful fall-colored mountains within Rocky Mountain National Park, Chandler and Zach married at the Stanley Hotel with 11 of their closest family and friends. I love that they wanted to celebrate their marriage over two days - the first day exploring Rocky Mountain National Park sharing their vows and the second day having more of a traditional wedding with their guests at the Stanley Hotel on the lawn overlooking the mountain range. Working with Chandler and Zach was an absolute breeze, and they are so down to earth and incredibly loving! Originally, they were planning on marrying in Switzerland but had to change it last minute to Colorado (who can blame them - both places are beautiful!) and it ended up being exactly as they imagined! A snowstorm hit very early in the season and covered the ground with snow for three days before their elopement, but with the fall leaves, sunny skies, and snowy grounds, it was the perfect backdrop for their elopement day.

Rocky Mountain National Park is a beautiful location with an array of scenery and very accessible for people in all types of life, which is why I think it is a great wedding location for any Colorado wedding. The Stanley Hotel is very famous for inspiring author Stephen King with the hotel in the novel ‘The Shining.’ It feels quite historic when you walk around, and the event rooms are so grand. They chose to marry on the lawn and have their ceremony in the library room, which felt grand in an intimate way. I highly recommend Estes Park for your wedding!

Cheers to the Damuths! ++
