Downtown Colorado Springs Hotel Wedding

When Callie reached out about having a downtown, urban style wedding inspired by those black and white type photos in courtyards, elevators, and anything that gives off romantic vibes. I must say, this was a wedding I had been dreaming about but didn’t know I would ever get since I mostly work in the mountains and nature these days, but I LOVED the challenge of using flash for their main portraits, playing with grandeur in ballrooms, getting flirty in a bar, and basically making them makeout for several minutes in an elevator! We had the best time embracing the moments, dancing with friends, eating really good, and in the back of my mind, I imagined their whole wedding to the chorus of “make your own kind of music” from Cass Elliot playing during their portraits together. I am obsessed with how their whole wedding turned out - one giant, love-filled party!
