EJ & Kailey: Front Porch Proposal

On a chilly December afternoon in College Station, TX, Kailey cried all her happy tears as EJ got down on one knee on her front porch, where so many sweet moments in their relationship helped shape them into who they are now. 

If I could summarize this proposal and engagement session, it would be tremendously joyful.

EJ is a romantic, and spoke so gently to Kailey moments before he put that gorgeous ring on his gorgeous bride-to-be. Afterwards, he took her into the guesthouse where it was decorated with photos throughout their relationship, and prayed for their engagement and marriage to be centered around the love of Jesus! How sweet can a proposal get?! 

I love the simplicity of EJ's proposal on a beautiful white brick wall front porch, and a Christmas decorated red front door (I guess this Californian is becoming more southern by the minute, in all the good ways!). It was so thoughtful for their relationship, and then we all cried, laughed, and danced around her property.  A new love in photographing proposals sparked within me - anyone getting engaged soon? 

Kailey & EJ, you two are going to have one joyous celebration of a wedding! Can't wait!
