An Industrial Boho wedding at the Gin at Hidalgo Falls Wedding

Ryann & Michael are the most adoring couple I may have ever met. The way Michael adores Ryann blew me away - he would fluff her dress, grab her water, tell her how beautiful she was, ask for more bridals of her, and so much more! A month after their wedding, I returned back to Texas for their after session at their farmhouse, and it just reminded me how much I love spending time with really incredible people. Their industrial boho themed wedding was filled with unbelievable floral arrangements, artistic touches with textural elements, and really incredible styling. An incredible family, a stunning reception, and a details that will make your heart swoon - I’m so thankful for my job!!

The venue is a family owned 1950’s restored cotton gin turned into a modern industrial wedding venue. I LOVE this venue so much, and I believe it is one of the best wedding venues in Texas. For one, the restored cotton gin has personality, but it is also a blank canvas. Decorating the venue can be as minimal or maximal as you would like, so unlike many venues, this venue will truly look unique to any wedding. The bridal suite is an aboslute dream flooding with natural light. There’s also a living space, a kitchenette, a spacious bathroom, and multiple full/queen size beds. A cotton gin venue has to have cotton right?! There is a 360 degree view of cotton fields around the venue, and with a wraparound porch that brings in breeze, you’ll be living your best southern life. I don’t know a lot about cotton, but this wedding was at the end of September, and the cotton fields across the street were being picked. If you want cotton but you don’t want an absurdely hot day in September, I am pretty positive that this venue has a constant breeze. I even visited the venue in June on a 100 degree day, but it felt like 80 with the breeze, so that may be helpful for those who want cotton and don’t want to sweat like crazy!
