Artsy & Elegant DIY Wedding at Beckendorff Farms

Nina and Thai’s wedding was like a celestial Anthropologie store mixed in with intimate family moments — eclectic & whimsical decor made by the bride, modern & classic attire for the couple and family members, plus boho & romantic details in the cake & flowers.

You have to check out all the details, because everything was perfectly done. Nina is an art teacher, so she made a bunch of the decor herself, like the blue-stone seating chart and celestial guest book canvas. For the flowers, cake, and tablescape, Nina told me, “I am not afraid of color!” That is what I want to hear! F. Dellit Designs made everything so gorgeous, and they certainly made the perfect combination of color and texture. The details are basically my favorite I have ever seen at a wedding. It was magical being immersed in the sea of creativity!

Their wedding was quite intimate, so Nina’s brother was her Man of Honor, her best friend was the officiant, and the family all had a part in the start of their marriage. Thai is Vietnamese, so their reception had some super fun traditions! One of their traditions is visiting each table and the people at the table have to create a game of some sort, like a drinking game. I believe the point is to get the groom drunk (or so I was told!) but each table also donates money to the couple after the game. All I can say is that people are very creative!

I loved celebrating their love, creativity, and the way they honor their traditions and family! Cheers to the Tu’s ++
